Dan Florey, MD

Dr. Dan Florey recently retired from clinical medicine after 20+ years as a Family Physician. Prior to medical school, he spent 14 years as a computer programmer. He has a strong interest in the use of technology to remove barriers and improve processes for providing patient care. He knows that the relationships built with patients help to promote their health and wellbeing. He believes improving processes and using technology can help remove barriers and improve the quality of care provided to patients. Having smoother workflows increases provider satisfaction and can enhance productivity.

Dr. Florey and his wife live alongside the Minnesota River outside Montevideo, Minnesota, with their three dogs. They greatly enjoy traveling and time spent with family, including their two grandsons in Oregon. At home, they spend time gardening and observing the nature that surrounds them.
